Women in the Trossachs is an organisation formed by women, for women.

Established in February 2006, Women in the Trossachs aims to provide networking, training, and information for women living and working in the Trossachs area. We encourage and support our members to be more enterprising in their business, community and social life.

As a group we work with and influence existing business support organisations, community organisations, and local service providers.

We believe our members are our most valuable resource, and their skills, knowledge and experiences will be harnessed and shared.

We provide networking and training opportunities that do not currently exist, and which meet the needs of local women.

Membership of the group is open to anyone with an interest in furthering our objectives, but obviously there is a focus on women living and working in the Trossachs communities.

OUR OBJECTIVES

To promote, establish and run a network group of and for women primarily throughout the Trossachs National Park area.

To promote and provide sustainable solutions to enable female entrepreneurship in business, the community and personal development.

To empower women with knowledge and confidence to support their lives in our communities.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES

The group is committed to an equal opportunities policy which encourages members, users and employees solely on their interest in the overall aims of the organisation, regardless of colour, disability, ethnic origin, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, nationality or political belief, race or religion.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

The group shall at all times endeavour to demonstrate environmental best-practice and operate with a high degree of environmental responsibility.
